Using the cap is easy.
- Charge your cap.Plug it in before you start.
- Open our app and pick a task.Connect your phone to the cap, then pick a task, like cooking, washing dishes or folding clothes.
- Put on the cap and press record.The cap only records when you press start.
- Do the task like normal.Keep at least one hand in view. Your time only counts while a hand is on camera.
- Stop and upload.Press stop when you’re done, then upload. Good Wi-Fi makes it faster.
- Get paid.Every accepted hour is paid straight to your bank account. Track it all in our app.
What makes a good recording?
Do this
- Keep your hands in view
- Record in good light
- Do one task per recording
- Move at your normal speed
- Tell everyone at home before you record
Avoid this
- Covering the camera with your hair or hat brim
- Recording in the dark
- Filming other people, especially children
- Filming documents, letters or phone screens
If a face or private info gets caught on camera, we blur it before it ever leaves our team. We train you on the rest when you get your cap.
Questions about the cap
Do I have to pay for the cap?
No. The cap is free to use, and there are no fees.
Does it record sound?
No. The cap never records sound.
Is my face recorded?
The cap points at your hands, from your point of view. If your face or anyone else’s gets caught on camera, it’s blurred. Private text, like documents and phone screens, is blurred too. Read more about privacy.
How are my hours counted?
Our app counts the time when at least one of your hands is on camera. Our team checks the count before you get paid.
Do I need internet?
Yes, to upload your recordings. Uploads go faster on good Wi-Fi.
What if the cap has a problem?
