About Sambilan

Why is the cap free?

Because the recordings you make are valuable. Companies building home robots need them, so we pay you for them.

The short story

Robots are learning to help at home.

Robots are learning to cook, clean and fold laundry. To learn, they need to see how real people do these things, in real homes, with real hands.

Labs can’t film enough real homes. You can. Every time you record a chore, you help teach a robot, and you get paid for it.

How it fits together

From your kitchen to a robot.

1You record

You wear the cap while you do your chores. No sound is recorded.

2We protect it

We blur faces and private text before anything leaves our team.

3RealAI gets the blurred video

Only the blurred video goes to RealAI in Singapore. Never your name.

4Robots learn from it

RealAI shares it with robotics partners and customers to train robots.

5You get paid

For every accepted hour, straight to your bank account.

Who’s behind Sambilan?

Sambilan is run by PT Eigen Robotics Indonesia, a registered company in Jakarta. It’s powered by RealAI, a robotics data company from Singapore started by robotics engineers from NTU (Nanyang Technological University).

RealAI builds the cap, the app and the technology behind them. Sambilan is the local team that works with you in Indonesia: signing you up, training you, answering your questions and making sure you get paid.
